Giles is a specialist in the treatment of musculoskeletal dysfunction with over 15 years of experience in manual therapy. He graduated from the College of Osteopaths in London and then devoted himself to practical work on patients and finally to teaching, writing and research in the field of musculoskeletal techniques.

Giles is an international expert in HVLA (High-Velocity Low-Amplitude) manipulation and mobilization techniques. In recent years he has written four books on osteopathic and chiropractic techniques and has published numerous articles in research journals on manual therapy.

Giles has lectured in over 45 countries worldwide and has worked with Liverpool FC, Manchester City FC, Arsenal, Southampton FC, Crystal Palace, NBA Memphis Grizzlies and NBA Oklahoma Thunder, among others.
